Volkano Fest is thrilled to announce the Dates of the 4th edition of its annual festival, set to take place from 4th to 6th October 2024 at Nyakinama in Musanze.

This year’s theme, “Unity in Rhythm, Nature, Music, and Soul”, promises an immersive experience celebrating the rich diversity and cosmopolitan creativity of the East African region and more.

Building on the success of previous years, Volkano Fest 2024 is expanding its offerings to include a variety of activities that resonate with our theme.

It’s not only 3 music stage of a well curated line-up of Artists from Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Congo DRC and european guests artists, we’ve added a carefully curated film program, and the festival will feature wellness activities, pop-experiences, and a newly added tropical stage.

These additions aim to enhance the overall festival experience, providing attendees with a holistic and engaging environment and experience.

Wellness Activities

A dynamic space highlighting the latest trends and designs from regional fashion designers and craft vendors, promoting local creativity and craftsmanship.

Residencies, Workshops & Masterclasses

Focused on the transmission and exchange of skills within the CCI value chain, these sessions aim to professionalize practitioners in artistic, creative, and cultural expression, stage production, vendors, and social entrepreneurship.

Panel Discussions

Educational sessions aimed at better understanding the components of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) with interventions from local, regional and international experts in policy, access to finance, climate, gender justice and inclusivity, environment conservation, as well as tourism skills.

These discussions aim to inspire and inform attendees, fostering a deeper understanding of their intersections with art sector & creative economy.
