Blessing Ewona is a multifaceted talent, combining her roles as a skateboarder, model, and DJ with a vibrant presence in the electronic/house music scene as WEAREALLTHECHEMICALS. As the founder of Dencity, a skate collective in Nigeria, she is dedicated to empowering women and marginalized communities by offering skate lessons, equipment, and a supportive environment. Alongside her advocacy, she captivates audiences with her unforgettable DJ sets, showcasing her deep passion for house music and her dynamic contributions to the genre.
BoomBoom is credited with helping shape the music industry in Shanghai in recent years. He has a mischievous taste in music which makes each of his sets dynamic and fun. He creatively blends afro house, electronica, down tempo, indie dance, and tech house and approaches every set as its own journey. He loves to interact with his audience, and he is known for creating positive and charged atmospheres at each of the venues he has played at.
DJ Dawee is a Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Tropical Bass & Afrobeats DJ & MC from the Berlin-based sound system and label SWS.Together with his crew, Dawee influenced the German and European Caribbean music scene in the 2000s and 2010s, and he played shows all around Germany, Europe, the UK, the US, Africa, and Asia, including on the main stages of major festivals such as Ostroda Reggae Festival Poland (2008, 2009), Lake of Stars Festival Malawi (2015, 2016), Shoko Festival Zimbabwe (2016, 2016), Bushfire Festival Swaziland (2016), Kol Fest Kyrgyzstan (2019 – 2022) and VolkanoFest Rwanda (2023). Over the last 20 years, Dawee has been travelling the world, and he has taken his music with him. Before moving to Kigali in 2022, he lived in Kyrgyzstan and set up Kol Fest, by now Central Asia’s largest music and arts festival. In his powerful sets, Dawee combines the biggest tunes from the Caribbean islands and the African continent and newly emerging music genres from around the globe (Moombahton, Tropical Bass) in a creative and danceable way. His own productions and remixes top off his selection, and together with his sound system-style MCing he knows how to create crazy party vibes!
LYYNDUH has taken her musical journey across borders, from captivating audiences in Belgium/Liege where she played for the GoldenGlobe and Bafana, to enchanting crowds in Uganda. Most importantly, she’s made her mark in her home country of Rwanda, where she’s had the privilege of sharing the stage with amazing artists & DJs. Coming through from Rwanda, Lyynduh is a multi-talented artist DJ known for her electrifying performances. With over 5 years on the decks, she enjoys mixing afrobeats, dub, disco, and more into unforgettable sets that connect people through music. Beyond her DJ career, Lyynduh is a co-founder of Elle Kwa Mziki, a female artist platform and residency program, providing a safe space for women to learn and express themselves creatively, breaking free from the limitations imposed by society.
