Bertrand MUHETO known as B Threy was born on 27th July 1994 in Bujumburo – Burundi and grew up in Nyamirambo which is the biggest influence he had to become an outstanding rapper, songwriter and fashion enthusiast.
After the release of his first studio album “NYAMIRAMBO”, he appeared with his friends in one of the most popular songs and an eternal hit called NITWEBWE and is also known as one of the founders of a movement called KINYATRAP that took over the country and inspired young talents to jump into the music industry.
With a body of work that appeals to a wide demographic, B Threy has built a loyal fan base that consistently engages with his work both in and out of the country.
He burst onto the scene with his public performances of his popular songs such as SINDAZA in 2019 from his second album 2040, which appeared to feature Mariya Yohana. In 2020 he dropped IMPANO N’UBUZIMA, NIHE and NICYOGITUMA in the same year and also some big features like NYUMVIRA with Dj Toxxik, B Threy has since maintained his music presence in Rwanda and East African charts.
In addition to his music performances, B Threy has curated and performed in a variety of projects including “A Love Letter to Rwanda” a documentary about the country’s development by Gianni Infantino President of FIFA, more about fashion show in Nairobi – Kenya and Bujumbura – Burundi with media tours in Kampala – Uganda.
